Terms and Conditions – Aarika Ashok Foundation

Article 1: Organization Name and Mission

The Aarika Ashok Foundation (referred to as “the Foundation”) is a non-profit entity dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged and vulnerable populations. Our mission is centered around promoting:

  • Public health awareness

  • Educational advancement

  • Food distribution and management

  • Child safety and women’s empowerment

  • Employment development

  • Assistance for those in need

  • Eco-conscious initiatives

  • Crowd-sourced fundraising projects


Article 2: Mission Objectives

The Foundation’s objectives are aimed at:

  • Ensuring quality access to healthcare and learning resources

  • Supporting food availability and economic resilience

  • Safeguarding the rights and well-being of children and women

  • Generating meaningful job and income opportunities

  • Offering relief and support to people in distress

  • Encouraging environmentally responsible practices


Article 3: Eligible Beneficiaries

Those who may benefit from the Foundation’s efforts include:

  • Economically disadvantaged groups such as low-income families, differently-abled individuals, children, and women

  • At-risk populations including displaced persons, orphaned children, and those affected by emergencies or disasters


Article 4: Foundation Assets

All financial contributions, endowments, and physical or digital assets donated to or acquired by the Foundation shall be considered part of its collective property.


Article 5: Governance

The Foundation shall be overseen by a Board of Trustees consisting of qualified members who bring experience and insight from various fields relevant to our mission.


Article 6: Duties and Powers of the Board

The Board shall be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the proper use and investment of the Foundation’s resources

  • Approving disbursements to support Foundation goals

  • Forming alliances and working agreements with likeminded groups or organizations

  • Hiring team members, advisors, and service providers where needed


Article 7: Transparency and Responsibility

The Board is answerable to both the community served and the donors, and it must:

  • Keep detailed and up-to-date financial records

  • Release yearly impact and financial reports

  • Ensure ethical management and full transparency in all operations


Article 8: Equal Access and Inclusion

The Foundation adheres to an anti-discrimination policy and does not differentiate or exclude based on caste, religion, gender, ethnicity, disability, or any protected status.


Article 9: Environmental Commitment

The Foundation pledges to integrate environmental awareness and sustainability into all programs and activities.


Article 10: Policy Revisions

These Terms and Conditions may be revised by the Board when necessary, as long as such changes align with the Foundation’s core goals and mission.


Article 11: Closure of Operations

If the Foundation is ever dissolved, any remaining property or assets shall be handed over to another non-profit organization with similar values and purposes, as selected by the Board.


Article 12: Legal Framework

These Terms and Conditions are subject to and interpreted according to the legal framework of the State of Maharashtra.
